Mariana Correia, born in Lisbon, seems to carry within her the entire history of fado, taking us on an immense journey from the origins of the national song to the present day, recalling the best of the old while adding the modernity we feel the need to listen to. A native of Lisbon, she emigrated to Switzerland in the mid-eighties and for three decades carried Fado to Swiss lands and border cities in Germany and France, performing in the best venues in those countries and becoming an ambassador for this music. Back in Portugal, she is a regular guest at the most emblematic fado houses in Porto. In 2019, she was part of the cast "Portugal A Gosto" at the invitation of Casa da Música.
